Kitchen Complete... mostly

Phil came out again to help with our kitchen and did a great job on the backsplash. It was a lot of fun having him out. Here are some pictures...

My Beautiful Wife

Chelsie's parents stayed with us for a couple of weeks last month. They repainted a couple of dressers that we are going to use in the baby's room. They also helped rip out the countertops and paint the cabinets for our kitchen.

Hoover Dam

Before coming home, Dad and I drove out to Hoover Dam.

We took the power plant tour... luckily for us, they were working on one of the generators and had pulled the rotor and were working on it.

This is a Pelton wheel generator which generates the power to operate the dam.

They are building a bridge downstream from the Hoover dam. This is also rather impressive.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway

I flew to Vegas last week to go to the NASCAR race with my Dad and 150,000 other people.
