Photo Shoot
Well, today we dressed the kids up and tried to get a Christmas card photo. Most of the time was spent trying to keep them from wrestling... but we did get some good ones too.

Big Sky Country
Welcome to Montana!
Mission Accomplished: A flight with 2 small children and no major catastrophes. Thanks to all the help from kind strangers and good family teamwork!
A Stewart family wedding in Redlodge, Montana was a beautiful getaway. It was fantastic to see all the family. I wish we could have stayed longer.
Asher loved the Museum of the Rockies and is still talking about the "Dinosaur Bones". They had a great Yellowstone themed children's museum too.
So much fun with all the grandmas and grandpas. This picture says it all. Asher had a blast!
Asher playing in the hay bale forts just like his mom used to at the dairy farm every year. He could have stayed for hours and hours. I finally convinced him to leave when the farm was closing by asking him to take some hay to Grandma at the car so she could see...disaster averted.
...Checking out Tallulah the pig while eating the best apple ever!
Great Grandpa and Grandma Kingma with Miss Veda Lou. They were gracious enough to let us stay at their place for the whole week. We had a great time. Thanks so much!

We are so looking forward to seeing everyone again soon. Family reunion 2011 or bust!

My sweet baby girl with her Grandma Jan...

Great Grandma Kingma convinced Asher to taste her vanilla ice cream and he was hooked!
Aunt Tammy and Cousin Tony with the sweet girl. She is quite the social butterfly.

Flotsam and Jetsam
Our lives have been intensly rich these past few months. "A Blur" is another way to put it. The blog will be very valuable journal when I have some time to reflect.
A ferry ride to West Seattle is the perfect cure for a rainy day. Asher and Veda love their Aunties and so do we!

We went to see the animals, but Asher was most interested in pinecones and dried leaves. I guess Illahee State Park might have been a simpler choice. There are more zoo trips to come when he is a little older.

We took Asher to Woodland Park Zoo in September. It was a short and sweet trip. Asher liked the penguins the best. They have a brand new habitat and you can see them swim underwate quite a bit.
My Chunkamonka! Veda has been enjoying the "all-night diner" at our place and she has the rolls to prove it.
We are getting ready to head to the Montana for a week on Thursday. It will be our first flight with both kids and I'll be coming back to Seatac alone with them both. If anyone has any travel tips, I'm all ears. Just the thought of getting to car with both kids, carseats, and luggage... Uggh! I think the flight sounds like a piece of cake compared to that.

Myo What???
We are recovering well from Aaron's recent trip to the emergency room and hospital stay in Great Falls, MT. He suffered from Myocarditis (heart inflamation that had symptoms like a heart attack).
We are thankful to be home safely and fully intact. "Thank you, God!"
The kids did marvelous with the whole experience. We stayed in 5 different places throughout the week without any really big meltdowns. The help from family and friends was tremendous!
Needless to say, I didn't get a lot of pictures while I was on this so-called vacation, but we had a good time visiting and harvesting with family before and during our cardiac adventure.
It was such a beautiful, busy, and hopeful time to be in wheat country. The sunsets were beyond compare and the quiet evenings peaceful.
My good friend, Kristi, with her daughter and Asher's future wife, Savanna Paige.
Look how well they get along already?
Our goddaughter and cousin on Aaron's side, Savanna Kay,with Veda Lou.
Mimi loving up those grandbabies.
Chilling in the backyard, poolside. Finally home!
