3 Years in 1 big day!

I have been ignoring the fact that Asher is steadily growing up, but there was no denying it on Saturday. He ran faster, jumped higher, talked more (if possible), and was more precocious. It was a transformation right before my eyes.

The Fraser's stopped by with cake, a balloon, and a birthday song to start the day off right. Thanks guys for making Asher's big day so special. He loved it!

A birthday helicopter and landing pad from Aunt Beck were just the ticket!Papa adorned our tree with gracefully dangling Easter eggs. They are lovely. aren't they?There is the culmination of a day's work buy the guys - Thank you! Asher and Veda are going to have a blast this summer in their little abode from Mimi & Papa.

Mt. Rose Cabin

Our Lake Cushman weekend was a sucess! We had such a wonderful time together. We could have used the sunshine that we had on Monday over the weekend, but we just put on our rain gear and got out there. The scenery was spectacular! It was also very quiet and peaceful to be there in the off-season - no cellular service, no internet, no television (except movies).

Asher loved, loved, loved hiking and we hope to get out there more often this summer. He was forever searching for the perfect hiking stick. Bode was in dog heaven with all the off-leash running reminicent of his younger days - of the benefits of being on the trail when nobody else is. I am dreaming of more family vacations to come!
