It kept Asher fascinated the whole meal. Awesome!

Short and Sweet

Everything is a little quicker and shorter around here these days...blog included. I actually posted, so it is a success.


Our good friends the Troxels came to visit last week and teach us about the "yucky" face. We were so behind the times.

Aaron is out on a submarine for sea trials and we miss him greatly. Asher asked to pray for Daddy last night at bedtime for the first time. He misses his daddy and wants to "help Daddy" with whatever work he is doing. He really wants to go on that submarine ride. They have a stunning water view of the ferry and boat traffic just down the hill from us.

Veda just keeps getting bigger. I think she'll get to wear most of her 0-3 mo. clothes only a few more times. She is 11 pounds now...I can hardly believe it has been 6 weeks. She is a good nurser (obviously) and she is getting the hang of sleeping at night too. She is also smiling and starting to coo which is so precious. Ahhh!

Happy Birthday Asher

Asher got a sandbox (that he helped build) for his birthday. He had some friends over and ate some cake. It was a good day.

Veda

Veda had a doctor's appointment today. She has gained 3 ounces since leaving the hospital... putting her at a 5 lbs. 15 oz. She is doing quite well and we are all quite enamored with her.

Chelsie is recovering nicely thanks to a very helpful big brother. He has been bringing Chelsie her water and snacks.

I'm A Big Brother

Asher is such a good big brother. He has been singing songs for Veda and giving her his "deedee" (translation: blanket). He loves to hold her and really wants her to play with the toys.



Thank you Auntie Hayley and Auntie Becky for taking care of Asher while we were at the hospital. He sure misses you both.
